What do I need to do when my change engine oil light comes on?

When the change engine oil light comes on, this is an indication you need a vehicle check. The number one thing is to bring it into our auto repair shop so we can perform a diagnostic test.

How often do I need a tune-up?

The golden standard for tune-ups will differ based on a few variables: the vehicle’s age and how often you drive it. Generally speaking, modern cars have a 100,000 miles tune-up required.

How often should I change my oil?

Oil change intervals will differ based on vehicle age, the type of oil used, and driving conditions the average we recommend having your oil changed after 5,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.

When should I get my tires rotated?

The general recommendation for rotating tires is between 5,000 - 8,000 miles or at least every six months. However, all tire brands are made differently, with some built to last longer than others, so it is best the check with the tire manufacturer for a more precise answer.

What types of vehicles do you service?

We offer a full range of light duty or medium duty vehicles. We do not work on Diesel and Euro Vehicles.

How do I know when I need new brakes?

The clearest indicator that you need new brakes is when you hear an unusual sound, such as a high-pitch squeak or squeal when you step on the brake pedal. If this issue goes unresolved for too long, you will notice a grinding sound similar to metal scraping against metal when you step on the brake. You may also experience a vibration when you have warped rotors. Please bring it in for an inspection.

How often should I have my brakes checked?

To prevent excessive wear and tear on your brakes, it is recommended that you schedule a brake check every 10,000 miles. You can also ask your auto mechanic to perform a basic inspection of the brake pads at each oil change or regular check-ups.

Why are my brakes squealing? How can I stop it?

Your brake squealing can be due to a rusted rotor, or worn brake pads. We recommend bringing your vehicle to us to have them perform a thorough diagnostic. We will offer you a solution for repairing your brakes.

How long do repairs usually take?

Call us about our availability. The average repair time is an hour or an hour & a half depending on the type of car, but this depends on the repair needed. You will always be given a turnaround time following your vehicle diagnostic.
